I´m trying Solar template from Rocket Theme. It has many many modules n is great. But my problem is exactly this. I already have my sections n categories up...wrote a new article, but I can´t make it work at that particular module position =( dont know how.

Basically a module does not show content. A module can show links to sections or categories, but by default a module could be best seen as a sideblock.

Say in the most simple shape you have a module left and a module right. In the middle you would see your article. Not in the module itself.

There are ways to get content to show in modules and especially the RocketTheme templates have some nifty ways for that.

If you mean you have a particular RocketTheme module for showing articles, like the Micro News module or RokStory or something like that, please let me know.

I do also advise you that when it is a special RocketTheme module you want your content in, to throughly study their demo template, in that demo template they also put little specific tutorials: http://demo.rockettheme.com/may09/index ... &Itemid=94

Let me know if I can help you any further, but be as clear as possible and let me know in what kind of module you want to have your content appear. In a normal module or in a specialized RocketTheme module like RokStory or MicroNews?

I tried to reinstall joomla like you taught at the video tutorial, but when I rename installation_done to installation again, the site goes to the window asking me to delete installation..n then I dont know what to do now. Coz instead of deleting it, I renamed installation_done again and it brought me to the site I was trying to build...and I want a brand new thing...what am I doing that is wrong?

Sorry, I just made it...looked ur video again n I missed I had to delete the configuration.php file..tks again for ur patient=)

Now I will see if building from scratch is easier.
